How does onsite destruction work in Austin?
We schedule a trip to your Austin site, inventory and barcode-scan your media, and physically destroy it onsite under witness to NIST 800-88 standards — then issue a certificate of destruction. Recovered hardware is recycled at our Garland facility under a zero-landfill process.
Is there a minimum for onsite service?
Onsite trips make the most sense at volume — larger batches of drives, multiple machines, servers, or a full decommission. For smaller jobs, mailing in through Ship to Destroy is faster and more economical.
What does it cost?
Mail-in pricing is flat and per item: $9 per hard drive, $10 per device, $1.25 per lb for small media, and $0.45 per lb for mixed electronics. Onsite and data-center work is quoted based on volume and site.
