General Questions
eRecycler provides comprehensive IT asset disposition services including secure data destruction, electronics recycling, paper shredding, asset tracking, and data center decommissioning. We serve businesses of all sizes across the Dallas-Fort Worth area and nationwide.
Our 50,000+ square foot facility is located in Garland, Texas, in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We provide pickup services throughout Texas and offer nationwide shipping options for our Ship to Recycle program.
We’re open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You can schedule pickups, drop-offs, and facility tours during business hours. For urgent needs, please contact us directly.
We primarily serve businesses, government agencies, healthcare organizations, and educational institutions. However, we do accept drop-offs from individuals for electronics recycling during business hours.
Data Destruction
We use multiple destruction methods including physical shredding with NSA-listed equipment, degaussing, and secure erasure. All data-bearing devices are destroyed according to NIST 800-88 guidelines, and you receive a Certificate of Destruction documenting the process.
Yes! We offer on-site destruction services where our mobile shredding units come to your location, or you can visit our facility to witness the destruction in person. Many clients prefer witnessed destruction for sensitive materials.
We comply with HIPAA, FACTA, GLBA, SOX, PCI-DSS, and DOD 5220.22-M standards. Our facility is R2 compliant, NAID AAA certified, and maintains ISO 14001 environmental management certification.
Yes. Unlike traditional hard drives, SSDs require physical destruction to ensure complete data elimination. Our industrial shredders process SSDs, USB drives, memory cards, and all forms of flash storage.
Electronics Recycling
We accept virtually all electronic equipment including computers, servers, monitors, printers, networking equipment, mobile devices, cables, and office electronics. For a complete list, visit our Electronics Recycling page or contact us.
For most equipment, recycling is free. Some items like CRT monitors and certain batteries may have processing fees due to the hazardous materials they contain. We provide transparent pricing upfront.
We’re committed to recycling 100% of the materials we collect. Nothing goes to a landfill. Materials are processed and separated for recycling, with precious metals recovered and hazardous materials handled by certified downstream vendors.
Yes, we provide Certificates of Recycling that document the quantity and types of equipment processed. This documentation can be used for compliance, sustainability reporting, and audit purposes.
Pickup & Logistics

We provide pickup services throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and across Texas. For locations outside our pickup area, we offer our Ship to Recycle program with prepaid shipping labels.
While we don’t have a strict minimum, pickups are most cost-effective for larger quantities. For smaller amounts, we recommend our drop-off service or Ship to Recycle program.
Yes, we can provide pallets, boxes, and packing materials for your convenience. For our Ship to Recycle program, we send shipping instructions and labels when arranged.
