Serving Dallas–Fort Worth · 27 years of secure recycling experience
NIST 800-88 compliant

Hard-drive shredding & secure data destruction.

Protect identities and meet your compliance obligations: Erecycler destroys hard drives, SSDs, tapes, and other storage media to NIST 800-88 standards — onsite at your facility, offsite at ours, or by mail. Every job ends with chain-of-custody documentation and a certificate of destruction.

We support single-drive mail-in jobs, office cleanouts, healthcare and financial records disposal, server-room pulls, ITAD projects, and witnessed onsite destruction for organizations that need proof.

Three ways to destroy

Onsite, offsite, or mailed in

Onsite destructionOur mobile unit punches or shreds drives in your parking lot — you witness it, data never leaves intact.
Offsite shreddingSealed transport to our Garland facility, where we shred up to 1,200 drives an hour under chain of custody.
Mail-in (Ship to Destroy)Send drives and media to us; we destroy and certify. See pricing →
Certificate & chain of custodyEvery drive tracked by serial; you receive documentation for your auditors.
What gets destroyed

Hard drives, SSDs, tapes, phones, and hidden media.

Data-bearing equipment is not limited to loose hard drives. Drives can be inside servers, desktops, laptops, storage arrays, copiers, DVRs, medical equipment, tablets, phones, and backup systems. Erecycler helps customers identify the media stream first so destruction is documented before the remaining electronics are recycled.

For small batches, Ship to Destroy creates a documented mail-in path. For larger projects, we can pick up in Dallas-Fort Worth, destroy onsite when required, or process the media at our Garland facility under chain of custody. For IT refreshes and server-room work, we can combine destruction with ITAD asset reporting and server recycling.

Certificates can be supported by serial capture, asset tags, scan sheets, pickup records, photos, and project notes depending on the level of reporting required.

Why it matters

A wiped drive isn’t a destroyed drive

Reformatting and deletion leave data recoverable. For regulated data — patient records under HIPAA, financial data under GLBA and FACTA — physical destruction to NIST 800-88 is the defensible standard. We destroy the media, document the serial, and certify the result, so a retired drive can never become a breach.

Need the rest of the hardware gone too? We recycle every component to zero landfill and can fold destruction into a full ITAD program with serialized reporting.

Destroy it right. Prove it was done.
